My work is driven by the process of making well-crafted objects that explore formal two-dimensional design elements in three-dimensional form, while still staying true the organic nature of clay as a material.

I construct time-intensive works that appear soft and kinetic visually but remain static from the ceramic process. Clay grants me the opportunity to directly include the environment into my work while still expressing a broader narrative encompassing the topography of subjective sentiment.

The majority of my work is unplanned, the meditative process of ceramics allows me the ability to craft sculptural objects and vessels that feel organic in nature. Visually soft lines that are heavy in weight.
